Fabrication and Innovation Lab
A fab lab (fabrication laboratory) is a small-scale workshop offering (personal) digital fabrication and non-digital fabrication. In other words, it’s a place with tools!
We offer access to the lab to all current HCC students, faculty and staff. We also provide access through continuing education classes.
Like other labs, ours is unique in its own way. We have many state-of-the-art machines mixed in with standard tools. We provide on-site training on the use of most but not all of the machines and anyone can just come by and speak with us to see the lab and what it can do.
Anyone can visit the lab but minors must be accompanied by their parents. We also do outreach to schools and welcome classes or groups to tour our facility. Companies are also welcome to visit or do tours.
