About Outreach Services

Welcome to Workforce Instruction Outreach Services where we pursue scholarship opportunities for our students. Outreach Services is committed to helping prospective students obtain information about the value of education. Our primary focus is on individuals who are unemployed/underemployed, veterans, and at-risk youth. Through partnerships with the Texas Veteran’s Commission, Harris County Protective Services/Houston Alumni & Youth Center, Community Health Choice, Volunteers of America Texas, Capital Idea, and TWC/HGAC, we are able to support the educational needs of those they serve.

Through Outreach Recruitment Services we engage, strengthen, and maintain our community partnerships. Outreach recruitment is committed to helping students obtain information on career and educational goals that will improve the quality of their lives. We also attend career fairs, college fairs, community events, and visit career offices to provide information on Houston Community College.

Vision Statement

To engage agencies and organizations that have as part of their mission the educational advancement of the populations they serve. We assist prospective students transitioning from their organizations to HCC to have a seamless experience and provide support services as needed.
