Mar 9, 2022
Dear Neighbors,
The need for higher education and career advancement never stops. Despite the effects of an ongoing pandemic, Houston Community College continues to provide courses and programs that prepare students for well- paying, meaningful jobs.
As a Director-at-Large of the Association of Community College Trustees, I am working hard to advance the interests of 1,200 community, technical and junior colleges in the United States and beyond.
I am proud to say that our six college system has been very successful in developing longstanding relationships with local organizations throughout District 9 to effect positive educational change in our communities. The HCC Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and staff are working hard to continue an open dialogue with you to provide highly relevant programs that provide needed education for in-demand occupations.
We are also striving to build our enrollment through dual-credit academic programs for high school students, expanded workforce training in diverse fields, community learning classes for personal development and lifelong learning for those over 55.
To respond to such times as these, we have been more focused than ever before, offering online and hybrid courses to keep students moving towards the completion of their studies and the start of new careers.
- Discounts are available on the purchase of computers from leading manufacturers
