Dear Neighbors,
As the newly elected Board Chair, its my honor and a privilege to serve and to honor my oath of office by working with the chancellor, administration and my colleagues to do what’s best for the college and our community.
The need for higher education and career advancement never stops. Despite the effects of an ongoing pandemic, Houston Community College continues to provide courses and programs that prepare students for well-paying, meaningful jobs. We are also striving to build enrollment through dual-credit academic programs for high school students, expanded workforce training, community learning classes for personal development and lifelong learning for those over 55.
To respond to such times as these, we have been more nimble than ever before, offering online and hybrid courses to keep students moving towards the completion of their studies and the start of new careers. Importantly, HCC offers several options for obtaining computers and internet access.
- Discounts are available on the purchase of computers from leading manufacturers
- Free use of software from leading companies such as Microsoft and Adobe.
- Wi-Fi is available at all HCC campuses and outdoor venues, including college parking lots.
- Professional technical support is also available to assist you in your journey.
So what are you waiting for? Visit hccs.edu or call 713.718.2000 today to learn more.
HCC is here for you!
Sincerely,
Cynthia Lenton-Gary, Ph.D.
