STEM Clubs

Join Clubs & Organizations at HCC

HCC hosts several STEM clubs and organizations that are recognized at local or at national level. These clubs and leadership organizations host seminars and activities to inform students of the current developments and career opportunities in STEM fields. They host symposia where students and faculty present their research projects. You will also get an opportunity to serve the community by participating in blood and bone marrow drives, fundraising, and providing suplies to underpreviledged student population in Houston.

You can choose to become a member of one (or more!) clubs depending upon your geographical location or the types of activities in which you like to participate. In order to become member of a specific club, you should:

  • Contact the Faculty Advisor designated for that club (details listed below)
  • Complete the required form so that you start getting information on events and activities organized by the club

To become more active in a club:

  • Get elected for leadership positions
  • Learn skills to advance in your educational and professional careers
  • Learn how to work with a team of students and faculty advisors
  • Learn to organize group activities

At this site, information is posted as received from the Faculty Advisors of the clubs. For more information on any club, please feel free to contact the Faculty Advisors directly.

Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) Biological Honors Club

βlepein βasin βiou “to see the foundation of life”

Beta Beta Beta (Tri Beta) is a society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study. The three major objectives of the Society are:
