HCC participated in a Lift Off party Friday, April 4 before the Rockets vs. Thunder game held at Toyota Center.
The focus of this event was to ensure our students had equal and easy access to the facilities at HCC and classrooms.
Houston Community College hosted the third annual HCC Hispanic Scholarship Committee (HSC) Luncheon Tuesday, October 8 at the Hilton Americas downtown Houston. The luncheon helped HSC to raise more than $60,000 for scholarships for Hispanic students interested in HCC.
HCC won the "Most Creative Display" for its booth display at the 2013 Taste of the Texans held at Reliant Stadium by the Texans Foundation.

The Houston Community College Foundation and the Houston Texans have teamed up to provide scholarships to Houston area veterans through the "Scholarships for Service" program.
HCC received a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission to fund skills development programs for the energy sector.
