Microsoft Certified Solution Associate - Server 2012 (Server Administrator) is a new area of studt in Microsoft IT Academy. By earning an MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification will qualify you for a position as a network or computer systems administrator or a computer support specialist. Getting this certificate shows that you have the primary set of Windows Server 2012 skills, relevant across multiple solution areas in a business environment, to reduce IT costs and deliver more business value.
Windows Server 2012 area of study is a 3 course track that focuses on learning about installing, administering, configuring, and managing Windows Server 2012 environments while at the same time preparing for the required Microsoft certification exams (410, 411, 412).
This MCSA is the first of three new certifications introduced by Microsoft for the Windows Server 2012 Technology. This is the starting point to learning Windows 2012 technology and also a prerequisite for the premier MCSE: Server Infrastructure.
