The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s Commit for Life Scholarship is open to students whose school hosted multiple blood drives in the 2014-2015 school year. Luckily for Houston Community College, nine blood drives were held at the West Loop, Stafford and Gulfton campuses during this time frame to qualify.

There are 3,139 members of the veteran student community currently enrolled at Houston Community College. The veteran community includes spouses, spouses of active duty military personnel and their dependents. HCC has several programs that support the veteran community.
